How to cook white rice.
First determine how
much rice you need. Then wash your rice, let your rice soak in clean
water before draining and putting it in the cooker. Rice expands at
least twice its original volume when cooked. The next most important
ingredient is water. For white short and long grain rice, add the water
at a 1 to 1 ratio. The cooking
time in the rice cooker should be about 20 minutes, after it stops
cooking and switches to warm, open the lid and stir the rice a bit to
help keep it fluffier.
